LCR Electronics, Inc. now offers high current DC, single and three phase AC filters for applications requiring higher common mode attenuation

Norristown, PA. April 2012 – LCR Electronics, Inc., a leading manufacturer of EMI filters, backplanes and ruggedized integrated chassis and electronic control products for military, telecom and commercial applications, has released a new product line of high current DC, single and three phase AC filters.

Unlike standard high current off the shelf filters, our high performance, dual stage AC and DC filters were designed with much higher inductance common mode coils to reduce excessive common mode emissions generated by high power SCR's (Silicon-Controlled Rectifiers), and meet the stringent attenuation requirements of nuclear power stations and MIL-STD-461F. These filters are ideal for military, heavy industrial and commercial applications, nuclear power stations, alternative power sources and generators.

Ratings for the DC filters are 150/250VDC, 50 to 750A, and the AC single and three phase filters are rated 277/600VAC 50/60 Hz, 25 to 750A, in both general purpose and low leakage current versions. Other voltage and current rated filters are available upon request.
